My Story

When I became a parent it was painfully obvious that the traditional parenting methods were not going to work with my kids.

When my oldest son turned 6 years old was when we received his multiple diagnoses, followed by my youngest. I thought those diagnoses meant I had to resign myself to a life filled with constant meltdowns and violent outbursts, and I honestly feared for our future.

I was desperate to help my child and felt so lost.
My world begin to revolve around anticipating the next blow up at the expense of everything else in my life. I was so afraid that I would never understand him and felt I was failing him. I was afraid I might break from the stress of it all. Most of the resources and education I could find about this out there is still dangerously out-dated and misleading. As a result, we are collectively experiancing a monumental toll on the entire family; our children, our relationships with our partners and on our own mental health.

If you are struggling in a similar way- your not alone.
